Logo's and Licensing Compliance

Are you licensed through N.A.W.S. to use the N.A. Symbols?

Yes, we are! We renew our licensing annually to ensure we remain compliant with both the program and the law at all times. Our License number is #WE080721. We keep a copy with us at every event, if you would like to see it we are more than happy to show you!

Are your designs N.A.W.S. approved?

Yes! All our designs are first submitted to N.A.W.S. and are not printed until they receive approval and are added to our file with them. If a design is not approved then we revise it as needed until it meets the N.A.W.S. standards, or we refrain from printing it at all.

Are all items you sell compliant with N.A.W.S.?

Yes, we stay up to date on what is and isn't permitted by N.A.W.S. to sell. For example, at this time medallions using the N.A. logos may only be produced by N.A.W.S. and the use of literature cover art is prohibited in printing.

Are you licensed to use the A.A. logo?

Alcoholics Anonymous does not require any licensing to use their logos or literature.

Do you use the trademark 'R' with all N.A. logos?

Trademark laws require that the 'R' be used at least once on the most prominent logo on an item. We abide by this law and ensure that every garment and item has the 'R' at the most prominent (largest) logo unless otherwise exempt (jewelry).

Organization Status

Is this a non-profit organization?

No, Renegade Recovery Gear is not a non-profit organization. We are a partnership with a federal EIN and we pay all state and federal taxes associated with a partnership business. Though we are not a non-profit, we contribute 20-30% of gross sales to local N.A. areas, conventions, and meetings to help spread the message of hope and the promise of freedom!

Do you pay taxes?

Yes, we pay all taxes at the federal, state, and county levels on all cash and card transactions. You may notice that at in person events we don't charge tax- this is for the convenience of our customers, we pay the taxes on their behalf.

Contributions

Do you contribute a percentage of your sales?

Yes! Renegade Recovery Gear contributes a minimum of 20% of gross sales to local N.A. areas, conventions, and meetings. It is an honor to give back to the program that saved our lives, as well as countless others.

Do you contribute anything other than cash to events?

Yes! We also contribute merchandise as well as original art pieces to events to be used as the committee sees fit. They are often used for auctions, raffles, or drawings to raise money for future events and literature.

Do you contribute to H&I?

Absolutely! We contribute 20% of all sales of our phoenix designs to H&I.

Donations

Do you offer free items for newcomers?

Yes! we offer free t-shirts and wristbands for newcomers. If you have a convention or event coming up send us a message and we will mail you a box of tees and wristbands for your event to give out. We cover all the costs!

How do I receive donations for an event?

Send us an email at RenegadeRecoveryGear@gmail.com and we would be happy to ship a variety of items over to be use as your area sees fit :)

Do you donate items outside of events, such as recovery homes?

Yes! We also donate garments to recovery homes and other recovery related organizations. Send an email to RenegadeRecoveryGear@gmail.com and we would be happy to ship out newcomer merchandise to be used in your recovery homes and programs

Events and Contracts

What does an event contract look like with you?

Renegade Recovery Gear will never ask to be the sole vendor at any event. In keeping with the 5th tradition, our mission is to carry the message to the addict who still suffers, and we support whatever best meets the needs of both the event and community. We offer 30% of gross sales and 10 merchandise items donated to be used as the committee sees fit.

Do you offer multi- year contracts?

No, we do not pursue contracts that span over the course of multiple years or conventions. Every area and convention has different term limits for committee members and we resubmit our bids after each event to give all vendors an equal opportunity to apply.

Are your contribution percentages negotiable?

Yes! we are more than happy to negotiate our contribution percentage to meet the needs of your event. We are also open to paying a flt rate per day or per table

Merchandise Purchased From Conventions

I saw an item at an event I liked but I don't see it on the website?

Our apologies! We are working as hard as we can to keep our website up to date with our latest designs, but sometimes it takes us a little longer than usual to get our inventory uploaded on the website. Text or email us a description of the item you were looking for and we will identify it and ship it to you :)

What do I do if the product I want is out of stock ?

Send us an email and we will be happy to find you the next closest item that is in stock and ready to ship

Returns/ Exchanges

Do you accept returns or exchanges for online purchases?

Since many of these garments are made to order we do not accept exchanges or returns at this time for this item. However, if you do have any concerns please feel free to send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate your needs :)

Do you accept returns or exchanges for event/ convention purchases?

We can not offer returns, however we can offer exchanges!

If you have purchased an item at a convention or event that is defective we will happily send you a new garment to you! Reach out to us within 14 days of your purchase with pictures of the defect and we will mail out a replacement, no need to send the defective garment back.

If you have purchased an item at a convention or event and it is the wrong size we will happily send you the correct size. Reach out to us within 14 days and we will mail out the proper size. Give the incorrect sized garment to a newcomer at the next meeting you attend :)

***Convention and event items have a fluctuating inventory that is difficult to maintain and is often limited addition. If we are unable to replace your exact item due to lack of inventory you may select a different limited edition garment of equal value***

What qualifies for free shipping?

Everything on our website qualifies for free shipping!

Our partners who may have websites linked on our pages , however, have their own shipping policies.

Do you ship internationally?

Being that we are a small business  we only ship within the United States of America at this time. We hope to be able to expand into global shipping in the near future.
